Elevated Goals: A worthy Ideal

What do I do first?

Welcome to Elevated Goals: A Worthy Ideal! This is the first lesson in the life-changing program Thinking Into Results developed by the Proctor Gallagher Institute. We're so excited you've decided to join us. On the right side of this page, you will see a series of videos. In order to understand how to use this program to get the greatest results, your first step will be to watch the videos. Watch them in the following order:

Instructions for the Program

This program is based on the repetition of ideas over a spaced period of time. In order to change the results and behaviors in our life, we must take them back to the root cause: our programming/paradigms. This is our habitual way of thinking and perceiving the world around us. Before doing anything, write the date in your Elevated Thoughts journal for the remaining of the program starting with "Day 1." This is journal is provided to you for two reasons:

1. It's an accountability tool.

By writing the date in the journal starting from the beginning, you won't be tempted to skip days. If you do skip a day, I want you to leave the day blank in your journal and go the next day. At the end of your 14, 90, or 180 days, you will be able to look back through your journals and see the progress you've made (or the lack thereof).

2. It's a guide that will remind you of everything you are supposed to be doing on a daily basis.

If followed, this journal will remind you of everything you're supposed to be doing on a daily basis throughout the duration of your program. The following are detailed instructions on what is to be repeated on a daily basis:

 ★ Goal Statement

Right below the day and date, you will see a statement that reads "I am so happy and grateful now that..." followed by a bunch of lines. This is where you're going to be writing your goal statement that we'll be creating during the Elevated Goals program or the first two weeks of the Thinking Into Results program. You probably won't be writing anything in this portion for the first two weeks.

 ★ Gratitude

In this section of the journal, you will be thinking of 10 things you're grateful for each day and 10 reasons why. This is more than just "thinking" thoughts of gratitude. It's getting into the "feeling" of gratitude. Please watch the "Instructions to Gratitude" video for greater details.

 ★ Daily Must-do List

Here is where you're going to repeat very specific things on a daily basis. The following are the things you'll repeat:

1. Recite Goals. Every morning and every night you will repeat the goal written on your goal card and written at the top of your journal out-loud in the mirror. As the eyes are the windows to the soul, you'll repeat the goal once looking directly into your left eye and then once again looking directly into your right eye. The more enthusiastically you repeat your goal, the faster it will appear.

2. Watch/Listen to the Lesson. Every day you will listen to a lesson from Thinking Into Results two times (once in the morning and once in the evening). For the first two weeks, we will be listening to Lesson One: A Worthy Ideal. To find this video/mp3, please watch the "Instructions to Daily Must-do..." video on the right hand side of this page. After the first two weeks, if you're a part of the Thinking Into Results program, we will move to lesson two and spend one week on the remaining lessons. If you're in the 25 week program, we will be repeating all 12 lessons after the first interval.

3. Work on Lesson Worksheets. Every day, we encourage you to spend time in the participant guidebook provided by the Proctor Gallagher Institute. To experience the greatest growth, this is where you will experience it. Please take the time to do the exercises in the workbook. If you received digital access to Elevated Goals or the full Thinking Into Results program, you will find this workbook on the Proctor Gallagher website (please watch the video to the right for more information on how to access that website). If you received a physical kit for the Thinking Into Results program, you will find this workbook in your physical kit.

4. 30-Day Challenge. Every 30 days, you will engage in a 30-day challenge where you will read a specific document out-loud for the whole 30 days. The first document you will read, no matter which program you're going through, will be the "Decision" document by Bob Proctor found at the bottom of this webpage. Click on the link and it should take you right to the document. If you miss a day reading this or any of the documents, you'll need to start over with the challenge. Watch the video to the right to find out why this exercise is so important.

★ 6 Things I Will Do Today to Help Me Reach My Goals

As you work your way through this program, your thoughts are going to start dramatically changing. You will start getting new ideas and impressions that you've never had before. These ideas are given to you for your benefit. They are going to move you toward the goal you're repeating and writing every day. When you get new ideas, the reason for this part of the journal is for you to write them down and then act on them. Make sure you ACT. If you don't, it doesn't matter how much you're changing inside. It's in the ACTION that you're goals will be made manifest. Most of these ideas won't make sense or scare you. Act on them anyways.

 ★ Time to Reflect

In this section of the journal, you will be reflecting on your day. How did the day go? There's only a few lines so it shouldn't take long to reflect. A very powerful exercise you can do in this section is to create "future memories." To learn more about future memories, be sure to watch the videos on the right.

 ★ Win of the Day

Every day you should try and find at least one moment that was your "win of the day." This is a positive moment of the day where you took action that you maybe would not have taken or had a shift in your paradigms. Take a moment to write that win down. If you're a part of the Thinking Into Results program, you will share one of your wins every week with your facilitator on your weekly call. This will make it easier to recall a win.

I think that's it. You're ready to go. If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of your facilitators or jump on a Q&A call. For those involved in the Elevated Goals program, click on the "events" page to sign up for your two free Q&A calls. We want to make sure we answer all of your questions and help you find your worthy ideal.
